Leanne White’s paintings and drawings are often studies of wildlife in their natural habitat. Some as close definitions with fine detail, and others in the landscape. Her landscape works are vast, when focusing on the north, or emotive and alluring with the changing of seasons and ambient light. Within the landscapes, true to the wildlife habitat, is the acknowledgement of the biodiversity of flora across the country. Leanne’s style is a strong sense of colour, with expressive paint work and the execution of fine detail.

In the heart of the historic Nannup townsite, Western Australia, you will find the Leanne White Gallery. Leanne embraces all paint mediums, with a love for the fluid spontaneity of watercolours and inks, the delicious consistency of oil painting or the instant possibilities and results of acrylics. For sale, in the gallery, are original paintings and print products, including limited edition prints, children’s picture books, cards, wrapping papers, mugs and other printed gift products.

Children's Book Author & Illustrator

Leanne White is an accomplished Children’s Book Illustrator of more than a dozen children’s picture books. Her books are available in the gallery and in book and gift shops Australia wide. Often, in the gallery, Leanne has her book illustration portfolios on display, showing the illustrations as roughs and then completed artworks before graphic design and printing is commenced.
